Question: This is taking too long. How can I go
directly to the page I want without downloading the whole file? |
Answer: When you open the
file directly inside your browser only the initial amount of
data is pre-downloaded. Once the file opens you can type in
the number of the page you want to go on the bottom bar of the
Acrobat Reader window and press Enter. This will take you directly
to that page. If you are planning on coming back to the same
sefer multiple times or would like to browse through many different
pages we recommend that you first download the whole file to
your hard drive and then browse through the book. |

Hebrew Troubleshooting
The ability to type in Hebrew is not something that is controlled
or added by the internet browser you are using (whether Explorer
7.0, Firefox, and/or Opera), but rather by the Windows OS (operating
system).
To install/activate Hebrew on your PC:
* Click on Start / Settings / Control Panel / Regional
and Language Options
* Click on the middle top tab: Languages
* Under the second sub-title of: Supplemental Language
Support, click the first check box next to:
Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages.
That will install files that were already copied onto
your hard disk to use Hebrew.
* After completing the installation, reboot the computer. You
can now use Hebrew in your internet browser and all Microsoft
Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Powerpoint,
Outlook). |
